In celebration of the 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑫𝒂𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑪𝒐𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔, TAGCODEC, in partnership with the Multi-Purpose Cooperative of Pag-asa (MPC of Pag-asa), successfully conducted the Financial Security for Community Peacekeepers: Appreciation and Financial Literacy Program on July 3, 2026.

The program gathered 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 from 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐠-𝐚𝐬𝐚, 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐧, 𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐥; 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐝, 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐧, 𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐥; 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐪𝐮𝐞, 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐨, 𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐥 for a meaningful day of learning, appreciation, and empowerment.

Inspired by this year’s International Day of Cooperatives theme, “𝑪𝒐𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝑷𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅,” the initiative recognized the invaluable role of our community peacekeepers while equipping them with practical financial knowledge to help build a more secure future for themselves and their families. It also reflects the cooperative movement’s commitment to promoting peace, resilience, and inclusive community development.
